I know how much difference it can make to understand what a question is asking and have a method you can follow. That is the focus of my tutoring: make the idea clear, work through the steps, and practise the skills that need attention.

What happens in the free trial?

It is a 30-minute online skills assessment and crash-course taster with Sandesh. You will identify topics that need attention, work through a focused example, and agree a revision priority. It is a short introduction, not a complete crash course.

Is it really free?

Yes. One 30-minute trial session is free, with no payment or obligation to continue. Any lessons after the trial are paid; the standard group tuition rate is £20 per hour.

How does the online session work?

Choose an available time on Calendly. The session takes place on Google Meet, and joining details are provided with your booking confirmation. Use a device with a reliable internet connection so you can talk through the working together.

What should my child bring?

A pen, paper, and a recent question or mock-paper mistake they would like help with. If you know their tier and exam board, include those details when booking.

Do we need to complete the mock first?

No. You can book the trial directly. If your child has already completed the mock, bring their answers and working so the session can focus on the questions they found difficult.

Is this for Foundation or Higher tier?

Both Foundation and Higher tier students are welcome. Tell Sandesh which tier your child is studying, or mention that you are unsure, when you book.

Which year groups and exam boards do you teach?

Sandesh offers AQA and Edexcel GCSE Maths support for Years 10 and 11, covering Foundation and Higher tier. He also offers A-level Maths support for Years 12 and 13; contact him separately about A-level tuition.

The free mock covers shared GCSE skills and is not an official AQA or Edexcel paper.

Will the mock give an official GCSE grade?

No. It is an original diagnostic resource with 24 questions, worked answers and a revision checklist. It helps identify topics to practise and does not provide an official or guaranteed GCSE grade.

When can my child start?

Book an available free trial on Calendly first. Group start dates and lesson times depend on availability and are agreed with you before joining.
